FOUR!
And yet, by the time the third hunt rolled around? She was still bypassing eggs that were lying on the ground RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER because she hadn't yet grasped the concept of the hunt. As my competitive nature was kicking in from the sidelines, and I'm yelling at her to JUST GRAB AS MANY EGGS AS YOU CAN AND QUIT LOOKING FOR THE PRETTY ONES!!!, I realized that, juuuuuust maybe, I was taking the church Easter egg hunt a little too seriously? Possibly? Probably?
I am a phenomenal example for my children, obviously.
I'm glad we're helping her cross items off of her life list at such a young age...
Oh my...Caitlin is such a cutie!! At least she only looked for the pretty ones, my boys fought on who could get the most and tackled each other when they found them!
ReplyDeleteHaaaaaaaaaa...our daughters...Ry was only picking up the pick ones at first. She COMPLETELY grasped the concept of the confetti eggs though; I will have to email you the video.
ReplyDeleteLove your sweet girls!
